Terms of Service  ·  Version 1.0  ·  Effective March 2026  ·  Governed by Irish Law
For qualified legal professionals only. By submitting an instruction you confirm that you are a qualified legal professional — an admitted attorney, barrister or solicitor — and that you accept these Terms in full. This service is not available to members of the public.

1. Who We Are

Korda-Law provides agentic legal research services to qualified legal professionals. References to "Korda-Law", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of korda-law.com. Contact: info@korda-law.com

2. Who May Use This Service

This service is available exclusively to qualified legal professionals — admitted attorneys, barristers, solicitors and their authorised staff. By placing an instruction you represent and warrant that you are a qualified legal professional or are acting on behalf of one.

Korda-Law does not provide services directly to members of the public. No research output is intended for use by or distribution to non-lawyers without appropriate professional supervision.

3. Nature of the Service

Korda-Law provides legal research and analysis reviewed by qualified lawyers. Our outputs are:

Korda-Law does not act as counsel or a law firm. Our outputs do not constitute legal advice, do not create a solicitor-client or attorney-client relationship, and do not attract legal professional privilege on submission. Privilege is a matter for the instructing lawyer's own professional relationship with their client. The instructing lawyer remains solely responsible for the advice they give to their client and for verifying all research before reliance.

4. Instructions and Payment

Instructions are submitted via the intake form on korda-law.com. Payment is made in advance via Stripe at the fixed fee applicable to the product selected. All fees are non-refundable once research has commenced unless Korda-Law is unable to deliver. Fees are fixed and disclosed at the time of instruction. No additional fees are charged without prior agreement.

5. Delivery

Research outputs are delivered by email to the address provided at instruction. Target turnaround times are stated on the site. These are operational targets, not contractual guarantees. Complex instructions or force majeure events may extend turnaround.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Korda-Law's total liability to any instructing lawyer in respect of any single instruction is limited to the fee paid for that instruction. Korda-Law is not liable for:

7. Intellectual Property

On payment and delivery, the instructing lawyer receives a non-exclusive licence to use the research output for the matter for which it was commissioned. Korda-Law retains all underlying intellectual property in methodologies, templates and systems. Research outputs may not be resold or published without prior written consent.

8. Confidentiality

Korda-Law will treat all information provided in instructions as confidential. We will not disclose instructing lawyer or client information to third parties except as required by law or with consent. The instructing lawyer accepts that research may be conducted using AI-assisted tools. No client-identifying information should be included in instructions unless strictly necessary.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Irish law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from research services provided by Korda-Law shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, save where applicable consumer or professional regulation requires otherwise.

For clients in the United Kingdom: nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights under English, Scottish or Welsh law. For clients in the United States and Canada: these Terms do not waive any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your jurisdiction.

10. AI Use Disclosure

Korda-Law uses artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of research outputs. All AI-assisted research is reviewed by a qualified lawyer before delivery. In jurisdictions where professional rules require disclosure of AI use to courts or clients, that obligation rests with the instructing lawyer. Korda-Law will confirm the use of AI tools in any output on request.

11. Changes to These Terms

Korda-Law may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published at korda-law.com/legal.html. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
